Fitness and health

Reward the effort, not just the result, with challenges that fit every level.

Fitness apps live on habits. Quests turn "work out more" into challenges people can see the end of, and badges give them something to show for it.

Quests that work

First steps, for new members:

  • Log your first workout (workout.logged at least 1)
  • Set a weekly goal (goal.set at least 1)
  • Work out for 60 minutes in total (workout.minutes, summed, at least 60)

10-workout challenge, open for one month: any ten workouts. The first 100 finishers get the Early finisher badge; everyone who finishes gets points.

Tuesday sprint: open every Tuesday only. Work out for 30 minutes that day for 50 points, and come back next Tuesday to earn them again.

Personal best: run 10 km in one go (run.distance, highest value, at least 10).

Award rules

  • 2 points per minute of exercise, at most 240 a day.
  • 50 points for each personal best.

Why it fits

  • Highest value and sum cover both kinds of goal: one great effort, or steady work over time.
  • First N rewards make a challenge feel live without leaving latecomers with nothing.
  • Audiences by trait (beginner, intermediate, advanced) keep challenges fair for every level.
